These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of Kanact applications, website (kanact.online), Stories Studio, Feed publishing engine, 12 Typography Fonts, Kreate Legacy streak trackers, Personal Vault, and Doctor Verification Services (collectively, “Services”). These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Kanact (Explicitly Technologies), a corporation established under the laws of India.
By creating an account, accessing, or using Kanact Services in India, you agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use our Services.
1. Registration and Account Security
Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in India to create an account on Kanact.
Account Credentials. Registration requires valid authentication via Indian Mobile OTP (SMS), Google Sign-In, or verified medical registration credentials. You are solely responsible for keeping your OTP codes and login credentials confidential. You must notify Kanact support immediately at support@kanact.online upon discovering any unauthorized account activity.
Role Selection. During registration, you must accurately select your primary medical role (Registered Doctor, Medical Student, Healthcare Researcher, or Patient Community Member). Providing false information or misrepresenting your professional medical status constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
2. Doctor Verification & NMC Regulations
Verification Submission. Doctors applying for the official Verified Doctor Badge must provide an active State Medical Council or National Medical Commission (NMC) registration number along with valid credentials.
Fraud Prohibition & Legal Reporting. Submitting forged, stolen, or fake medical registration IDs is strictly prohibited. Kanact (Explicitly Technologies) reserves the right to immediately terminate fraudulent accounts and report offenders to statutory State Medical Councils, the NMC, and Indian law enforcement authorities.
Badge Scope. The Verified Doctor Badge confirms identity and council registration. It does not constitute a guarantee, endorsement, or warranty of individual clinical treatment outcomes by Kanact.
3. Platform Features & Content Ownership
Your Content Ownership. You retain full copyright ownership of clinical posts, text, images, and medical case studies published on Kanact. You grant Kanact (Explicitly Technologies) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reformat, and deliver your content to your authorized audience.
12 Typography Fonts Engine. Posts formatted using Kanact’s 12 specialized typography fonts (Medical Bold, Clinical Mono, Stethoscope Script, Hospital Clean, etc.) remain your intellectual property, but font software files may not be extracted or redistributed.
24-Hour Stories Studio. Media posted to Stories Studio is subject to an automated 24-hour expiration protocol, after which stories automatically expire and are purged or archived.
4. Medical Advice Disclaimer & Emergency Notice
Kanact is a social, educational, and professional networking platform. Content published on Kanact—including medical posts, case studies, stories, direct messages, and comments—is provided for educational and peer-sharing purposes ONLY. It does NOT constitute formal medical advice, diagnosis, prescription, or emergency triage.

5. Kreate Legacy Streaks & Community Badges
Kanact rewards daily educational posting through Kreate Legacy Streaks and milestone badges (7-Day, 30-Day, 100-Day, 365-Day Badges). Automated streak manipulation, spam posting, or bot-generated content will result in streak resets and badge revocation.
6. Prohibited Conduct & Misinformation Rules
You agree NOT to engage in any of the following prohibited actions:
- Publishing unverified, dangerous medical claims, fake cancer remedies, or unproven pharmaceutical advice.
- Uploading unconsented Patient Identifiable Information (PII) in violation of NMC ethics regulations and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
- Impersonating licensed doctors, surgeons, or healthcare institutions.
- Using automated bots or web scrapers to harvest user data or disrupt Kanact servers.
7. Personal Vault & Data Security
Clinical documents, research papers, and notes saved to your Personal Vault are protected using AES-256 and TLS 1.3 encryption. Only your authenticated account session can access your Personal Vault.
8. Account Termination & Deletion
You may request account deletion at any time via Profile Settings or by navigating to our Account Deletion Guide. Kanact (Explicitly Technologies) reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate medical safety regulations or community standards.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
DISCLAIMER. KANACT SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. KANACT (EXPLICITLY TECHNOLOGIES) DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR MEDICAL PURPOSE.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ACT, 2000 AND INDIAN LAW, KANACT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON USER-SUBMITTED MEDICAL POSTS.
10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
